Legal · Website use

Website terms.

Effective July 10, 2026

These terms govern the public website only. A paid engagement begins only under a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these website terms, the signed agreement controls the services.

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of fieldtoreport.com. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Field to Report is operated by Ian Cross through Dissonance Inc. in Denver, Colorado. References to “Field to Report,” “we,” or “us” on this page mean Ian Cross and Dissonance Inc. as applicable.

2. Informational website

The website describes workflow-integration services and provides general educational material. Website content is not legal, accounting, archaeological, engineering, compliance, cybersecurity, or other regulated professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating information in the context of your own organization and obligations.

3. No automatic client relationship

Visiting the website, sending an email, requesting a teardown, or receiving preliminary information does not create a client, fiduciary, partnership, employment, or agency relationship.

A service engagement begins only when the parties sign a written proposal, statement of work, or service agreement. Scope, price, schedule, acceptance criteria, guarantees, support, data handling, and ownership are binding only as stated in that signed agreement. Website descriptions and prices may change and are not standing offers capable of acceptance without a written agreement.

4. Permitted use

You may use the website for lawful business and informational purposes. You may not:

5. Intellectual property

The website's original text, visual design, graphics, code, and branding are owned by Ian Cross, Dissonance Inc., or their licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view, print, or share links to the website for ordinary internal evaluation. No other license is granted unless provided in writing.

Client deliverables, source code, templates, and ownership terms for paid work are governed by the applicable signed service agreement, not this section.

6. Illustrative materials

Examples, models, teardown artifacts, benchmarks, and calculations are provided to demonstrate a method. Unless expressly identified as a measured client result, they are not case studies, guarantees, or predictions of your outcome. Any personalized recommendation depends on the inputs supplied and the assumptions stated in the artifact.

7. Third-party services and links

The website may mention or link to third-party products, email providers, scheduling tools, field-data systems, or other websites. Those services are controlled by their owners. Field to Report does not warrant or assume responsibility for third-party content, availability, security, or terms.

8. Website availability and disclaimers

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field to Report disclaims warranties regarding website availability, accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and freedom from harmful components.

Field to Report may update, suspend, or remove website content at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted website operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field to Report, Ian Cross, and Dissonance Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this public website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability connected to paid services is governed by the applicable signed agreement.

10. Privacy

Use of information associated with the website is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising solely from these website terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated as the website or business changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
